DoorSprings is a spring calculation app for garage door manufacturers and installers.
DoorSprings is specifically tailored for calculating sectional door springs. It uses components and wire grades commonly used in the Australia/New Zealand region.
The developer has over 20 years experience in writing spring calculation programs for the garage door industry in the Australasian Market. The calculations are based on proven engineering calculations and common industry practice.
The free version of the App provides you with the optimum spring solution chosen by an advanced algorithm. It is limited to 2” spring fittings, 400-8 cable drums and a small selection of wire sizes. This means the maximum door height is 2440mm in the free version.
An upgrade to the Pro Version requires a one-time in-app purchase for all your iOS devices. It allows you to preview and save a number of possible spring options, print a specification sheet wirelessly using AirPrint, or email/message a PDF directly from the app.
The Pro Version upgrade will also unlock all the available wire sizes, wire grades, spring fittings and cable drums which are built-in to the App.
